Former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson put up an incredible 11,263 receiving yards and 58 touchdowns on just 641 receptions in his career for six different teams, though most fans will always remember him as a star with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jackson had his best days as an Eagle under current Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, and DJax recently got honest about his relationship with Coach Reid.

Jackson appeared on The Herd with Colin Cowherd recently and opened up about his great relationship with Reid, saying “It was almost like having a Dad 2.0…He gave you hardship but at the same time, he loved you.”

Jackson was a pillar of the Eagles franchise until Chip Kelly replaced Andy Reid, and he and Kelly notoriously did not see eye to eye, which was a big reason why he eventually ended up leaving for the Washington Commanders.

Reid has now won three Super Bowls with the Chiefs, with one of them unfortunately coming against the Eagles two years ago, but you rarely, if ever see a player with a bad thing to say about Reid even during his Philadelphia days.

Player’s coaches are thriving in the NFL these days as innovation and positivity are being rewarded throughout the league.

Jackson officially retired as an Eagle during last season and it’s great to see him doing more media, as he was always one of the league’s most exciting personalities and he surely has a lot of fun stories to tell from his time in the league.
