The Los Angeles Chargers made plenty of moves this offseason within their organization.

They fired former head coach Brandon Staley and hired national champion head coach Jim Harbaugh.

Additionally, they parted ways with three of their top playmakers on offense in six-time Pro Bowl receiver Keenan Allen, big-play threat Mike Williams, and all-purpose running back Austin Ekeler.

Despite all of these moves, Fox Sports’s Colin Cowherd believes Los Angeles has a big season ahead of them.

“Jim Harbaugh is a complete breath of fresh hair…(The Chargers) needed this coach…Don’t be shocked if they win 11 games. Maybe 12,” Cowherd said recently on The Herd.

Despite parting ways with a lot of key pieces from the last few years, L.A. still has their Pro Bowl quarterback in Justin Herbert.

They also signed a couple of former Ravens running backs in Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins, who both played in a great rushing offense for years under Jim Harbaugh’s brother, John.

Defensively, Pro Bowl edge-rushers Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack are back for another year and will look to create havoc in the opposing backfield.

Pro Bowl linebacker Denzel Perryman and All-Pro safety Derwin James are a couple of underrated defenders on the backend and in the middle of the defense as well.

Despite having a makeshift group of receivers, Jim Harbaugh knows exactly what he is doing from an offensive perspective.

The former Pro Bowl quarterback has a career-winning percentage of close to 69% as an NFL head coach, and he took the 49ers to the Super Bowl in 2012.

It is hard to say if the Chargers can win 12 games or not, but it seems like they could be on the right track with Harbaugh taking over.
