The Kansas City Chiefs have had a tight grip on the AFC West for over a decade.
They have won the division eight straight times, demonstrating their consistency and dominance over their peers.
With Kansas City’s success, other teams in the division have struggled to gain traction, especially the Los Angeles Chargers.
Despite there being some optimism surrounding the team in recent seasons, the Chargers have only made the playoffs once in the past five years.
Justin Herbert is working desperately to turn this team around and help give the Chiefs a run for their money, but he still needs help to make that happen.
The Chargers did add J.K. Dobbins to the roster in the offseason, hoping he could provide a spark to this offense from the running back position.
He recently told Kris Rhim of ESPN that there is a “special season” coming for the Chargers, a potential indication of what’s to come.

Players tend to make bold statements like this before the year begins, but it remains to be seen if the Chargers will put their money where their proverbial mouth is.
In Training Camp, every team looks like they have an opportunity to win the Super Bowl.
Energy levels are high, and with newly drafted and acquired players on every roster, it is an exciting time of year.
Dobbins seems excited about what this team could do, and if Herbert lives up to his potential, the ceiling could be limitless for them moving forward.
