The Phoenix Suns have every reason to be tuning into the 2024 Olympics as they’ve got two of their superstars playing on Team USA.

Devin Booker and Kevin Durant are two of the 12 players on the roster and they helped lead the Americans to their first victory in pool play over Serbia.

Team USA got off to a slow start and forced a quick timeout from head coach Steve Kerr.

However, the team eventually found their groove offensively, especially once Durant subbed into the game off the bench.

Despite not having played in any of the five exhibition games, Durant didn’t look rusty at all as he came in and was aggressive from the jump.

Durant led Team USA in scoring with 23 points and Skip Bayless was astounded by the performance via his personal Twitter account.

“I can’t believe what I just witnessed,” Bayless said. “I wasn’t even sure Kevin Durant could play today.”

Durant was on a heater from the get-go as he didn’t miss any of his eight shot attempts in the first half and helped Team USA go up by double digits.

He was a magician with the basketball, pulling up from anywhere on the floor and sinking shots over hapless Serbian defenders.

Durant’s only missed field goal came late in the game on a sideline jumper but by then the game was out of hand.

This version of Durant looks like it was the missing piece for Team USA and Kerr might not have a choice but to start him in Team USA’s next game.
