The Philadelphia Eagles will be looking to prove they still belong in the Super Bowl contender conversation after flaming out in the 2024 NFL Playoffs.
The Eagles still have a loaded roster on both sides of the field for the 2024 NFL season, though they lost long-time stalwarts in Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox.
Without two of their anchors in the trenches, it will be interesting to see how Philadelphia game plans with the current group.
The Eagles have found most of their success offensively behind a stout offensive line, and this upcoming year shouldn’t be any different.
However, the o-line is already taking a hit as Tyler Steen suffered an ankle injury during training camp via Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer.
“OL Tyler Steen suffered a mild ankle injury yesterday at #Eagles practice and could miss the next few days of training camp, an NFL source said. Steen left Saturday’s practice early. He has been the first team right guard so far. The job is considered open. Darian Kinnard took Steen’s place after he left,” McLane reported.

Steen was a third-round pick by the Eagles in the 2023 NFL Draft and drew his first NFL start last season against the Dallas Cowboys.
As of now, it sounds like Steen avoided anything serious and should resume getting first-team reps once he’s able to recover from his ankle injury.
Philadelphia’s offense will go as far as the offensive line can take them and Steen projects to be a big part of their success once the 2024 season kicks off.
