Aaron Rodgers is, without a doubt, one of the absolute greatest quarterbacks to ever lace them up in the NFL.
And while his lack of playoff success after that lone Super Bowl win is a reasonable argument against him, he’s always been near the top of the league, production-wise.
Nonetheless, Nick Wright doesn’t feel like he can be that guy anymore.
Talking on First Things First, the controversial pundit stated that he couldn’t think of a single reason why an older Aaron Rodgers who’s now got worse coaches than he did in his final year with the Green Bay Packers could have a better season now.

Well, for starters, the Packers featured mostly rookies and unproven players in his final season there.
Rodgers is one of the best pure passers in the game, and he’s going to play behind a revamped offensive line and will have one of the best running backs in the game to rely on.
The Jets have given him more than enough weapons to play with.
Granted, he’s not particularly young, and he did miss the entirety of last season.
But if he’s even close to the player he was a couple of years ago, there’s absolutely no reason to believe he can’t win MVP again.
