After making easy work of Nikola Jokic and Serbia in their first game at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Team USA headed into its game against South Sudan not taking its opponent lightly after winning by only one point in their previous exhibition meeting.
With U.S. head coach Steve Kerr attempting to correct the mistakes he made in that first matchup with South Sudan in London, he made some changes to his starting lineup, with Anthony Davis and Jayson Tatum being the notable additions.
With those moves to mix things up, and to park Joel Embiid on the bench for the game, the Americans were able to get another convincing win and march one step closer to winning gold this summer.
Even though Team USA defeated South Sudan with relative ease, that doesn’t seem to have satisfied Skip Bayless of FOX Sports, who took to Twitter after the game to bash Stephen Curry for hitting one of nine shots and blast LeBron James for having six turnovers.
Steph Curry: 1-9, 0-6 from three, can’t guard anybody. LeBron: SIX MORE TURNOVERS. And this team could beat Michael Jordan’s Dream Team?

At this point, Bayless is just trying to get some engagement on these tweets, because it is hard to criticize a performance in which the Americans dominated their opponent, especially after a close call the last time they met on the court.
Obviously, Curry had a forgettable performance, and James turning over the ball over that much is never a good thing, but the team went on to pull things out and improve their chances of running the table.
