The Los Angeles Chargers, despite having superstar talent on both sides of the ball, have struggled to find sustained success.

Yes, they made the playoffs in the 2022 season, but judging by their performance in 2023, this team didn’t have an identity, leaving them at an impasse heading into the offseason.

Thankfully for the players and the fanbase, the Chargers front office moved to add Jim Harbaugh as the team’s newest head coach.

Harbaugh has plenty of experience at the NFL and collegiate levels, and his most recent accomplishment was winning the National Championship with the University of Michigan.

Having a new coach in the building can take some getting used to, but it appears this team is adapting well to their new signal-caller.

Veteran defender Khalil Mack recently sat down with Tom Pelissero and Daniel Jeremiah to discuss Harbaugh’s impact thus far.

As Mack said via the NFL Network, “You can tell why he’s won.”

Harbaugh’s winning nature and strong presence in the locker room have impressed Mack, who has seen his fair share of coordinators and coaches throughout the years.

If Harbaugh can apply what he did at Michigan and apply it to the Chargers, they might have a shot at seeing legitimate improvement moving forward.

After all, they do have Justin Herbert under center, and with play-makers like Mack on the defensive side of the ball, their roster could use Harbaugh to propel themselves to great heights.

With a loaded AFC West, however, they have their work cut out for them.
