Every year, NFL Network counts down its Top 100 NFL players, and it will soon release its rankings of the 10 best players in the league.

Prior to that, Rich Eisen decided to give his own ranking of the 10 best NFL players, and he started off with Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill at No. 10.

He has Trent Williams, the star left tackle of the San Francisco 49ers, at No. 9, and he is someone whose value is hard to truly measure, although he’s consistently ranked by many as one of the NFL’s best overall players.

Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby is No. 8, while Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Klece comes in at No. 7.

The reigning league MVP, Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson, is Eisen’s sixth-best NFL player, and Cleveland Browns pass rusher Myles Garrett, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, is at No. 5.

T.J. Watt of the Pittsburgh Steelers, who won the Defensive Player of the Year award in 2021, is at No. 4, and it should be noted he led the NFL in sacks and had more quarterback hits and tackles for losses than Garrett last season.

Another defensive lineman, Kansas City Chiefs star Chris Jones is at No. 3, and Eisen pointed to his clutch plays in last season’s Super Bowl as a big reason why he’s that high on his list.

Christian McCaffrey, the very talented San Francisco 49ers running back and last season’s Offensive Player of the Year, is Eisen’s second-best NFL player, and to no one’s surprise, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is No. 1 on Eisen’s list.
