The Buffalo Bills know this might be a make-or-break season for them.
That’s why they must be pretty confident and sure about every single move they make, whether it’s minor or major.
With that in mind, they’ve decided to backpedal and bring back a guy they had parted ways with not so long ago.
Per their own report, they have re-signed undrafted free agent LB Shayne Simon.
They had released him last week to make room for veteran S Kareem Jackson.
Now, in a corresponding roster move, they’ve designated undrafted free agent DL David Ugwoegbu as waived/injured.

The Bills first signed Simon in June after he excelled in tryouts, so it was kind of surprising to see him being cut in the first place.
He was a four-star recruit out of high school before playing for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, where he logged 26 tackles and five deflections throughout the course of four seasons.
He suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in 2021, and he transferred to Pittsburgh for his final two years in college.
There, he logged 94 tackles, eight pass deflections, and seven sacks.
He’s an athletic sideline-to-sideline kind of defender, so he seems to be tailor-made for Sean McDermott’s system and schemes.
Nonetheless, the fact that he was already cut once makes it seem as if he were another obvious cut candidate ahead of the start of the campaign, but he should still be able to get a spot on the practice squad and, who knows? Perhaps find his way to the field at some point next season.
