The Miami Dolphins have been one of the busiest teams in the NFL over the course of the offseason, with the franchise doing everything within its power to secure the long-term futures of their star players on the offensive side of the football.
Initially, the Dolphins took care of star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle with a four-year deal, which turned out to be only the beginning of the team’s moving ahead of the 2024 NFL season.
Although it took a bit of time, and some thought the negotiations would bleed over into training camp and become a significant distraction, potentially resulting in a holdout, the Dolphins agreed to terms on a lucrative long-term deal with star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who also signed a four-year deal but a much higher rater at $212.4 million.
With Waddle and Tagovailoa taken care of with long-term deals that secured their future with the team, the attention turned to superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who the Dolphins ultimately agreed to give $90 million to over the next three years, with $65 million guaranteed.
Hill’s deal turned some heads around the league, especially New England Patriots star Matthew Judon, who wants a new deal with his team, as he made a simple statement on his Instagram story recently via Sophie Weller of A to Z Sports.
“Know ya worth,” Judon said.

With the Patriots in full rebuild mode right now, the team has been really open to the idea of signing veteran players to long-term extensions, meaning it has been difficult for Judon to get what he wants in New England.
There’s been much speculation that these contract talks between Judon and the Patriots could eventually lead to a trade, as they likely won’t agree on a new deal.
