The Detroit Lions have become one of the best success stories in the NFL as they went from decades of futility to now being considered one of the Super Bowl favorites heading into the 2024 NFL season.
The Lions made it all the way to the NFC Championship Game during the 2024 NFL Playoffs and nearly came away with a win before falling to the San Francisco 49ers.
However, Detroit should learn from that experience and use it as fuel to make an even stronger run this upcoming season.
Behind an electric offense led by Jared Goff and Amon-Ra St. Brown and a young and talented defense featuring Aidan Hutchinson, the Lions have every reason to be confident in their chances.
It doesn’t seem that long ago that Detroit was the laughingstock of the NFL, but now teams are beginning to emulate the way they run their organization via Albert Breer of The MMQB.
“@AlbertBreer says no one is laughing at the Lions anymore. He is visiting training camps and noticing how other NFL teams copy winning environments like Detroit’s.”

Breer noted that both head coach Dan Campbell and general manager Brad Holmes proclaimed years ago that the state of the team would change and they have done excellent work to get them there.
Breer also explains that the grit and tenacity of the Lions shine through and also praises their ability to draft players in the NFL Draft.
All in all, the Lions have done everything right in their rebuild and are now reaping the benefits.
