Over the last several weeks, there have been many reports about Jerami Grant possibly leaving the Portland Trail Blazers soon.

But a new report from Jake Fischer says that Grant feels very comfortable in Portland and might not want to leave.

According to NBACentral, Fischer wrote:

“Few players want to face the general uncertainty of moving midseason, especially those who have enjoyed newfound stability for the first time in their careers. That has been the same word about Portland forward Jerami Grant, sources said, despite rival teams’ interest in the veteran Trail Blazer.”

Last season, Grant averaged 21 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game for the Blazers, shooting 45.1% from the field and 40.2% from the three-point line.

He’s clearly a very special player and has only spent a couple of seasons with the Blazers, so why wouldn’t he want to try his hand at playing for a bigger and better team?

According to Fischer, Grant feels good about playing for the Blazers and doesn’t want to shake things up.

Despite that, his name has been attached to multiple rumors, including ones that say the Los Angeles Lakers are intrigued about signing him.

Right now, Grant is still a member of the Blazers and this report suggests he might be there for some time.

Of course, Grant has been in the NBA for ten years now and is 30 years old.

Therefore, if he wishes to move to a new team, he probably wants to do it soon.

He might be comfortable with the Blazers but he could still leave in the future.
