Last season, the Carolina Panthers made what could go down as one of the best or worst trades in franchise history.
Bryce Young entered the league with some doubt, but his talent and skills were impressive enough to overshadow his lack of size.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t particularly evident in his first campaign in the league.
He struggled more often than not, looking out of sorts and, at times, it seemed like he wasn’t truly sure about what he was doing.
Nonetheless, Ian Rapoport believes he’s in for a bounce-back year.
Talking on Good Morning Football, the NFL Network insider stated that Young has taken much more ownership of the offense this season.

While he’s not leading the meetings, he’s reportedly been much more vocal with his offensive coordinator, talking about what he likes and where he feels comfortable.
Rapoport added that Young has been under center more often now that Dave Canales has taken the reins, adding that the team is going to great lengths to make sure he’s more comfortable in the offense.
He also states that the simple things will also do wonders for Young.
He now knows what he’s doing when he’s lined up and whatnot, which allows a better flow of the offense during training camp.
And with a new head coach, a revamped offensive line, and an improved running game, things should be easier for the Alabama product.
There were many reasons to be high on Young, so it might not be wise to count him out after just one season.
