Over the course of the last few months, the Los Angeles Lakers have been one of the most talked about teams in the NBA, as the team has made some questionable moves that have left the team’s immediate future limbo, as things could get pretty ugly from here on out despite the return of superstar LeBron James on a two-year deal.
After getting knocked out of the first round of the NBA playoffs by Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets, the Lakers didn’t waste any time on making a decision on what the future held for head coach Darvin Ham as the team parted ways with him after two seasons in Los Angeles.
Following Ham’s dismal, it was uncertain what direction the Lakers would go in considering who would be the new leader on the sideline, but it didn’t take long before the rumors started swirling about the team being enamored with the prospect of hiring first-timer JJ Redick.
Ultimately, the Lakers hired Redick, even though he has no coaching experience on any level, and now, according to Jovan Buha of The Athletic, the team has finalized the coaching staff for the former NBA sharpshooter.

With Redick having no coaching experience to speak of, the team made sure to bring in a few assistants who had experience as head coaches on the NBA level, resulting in Nate McMillan and Scott Brooks joining the staff.
The team also made a bold move by hiring G League Coach of the Year Lindsey Harding, who will get her shot to prove her worth on the professional level next season.
