The 2023 season didn’t go as anticipated for the New York Giants.
Despite some anticipation heading into the year, the Giants ended their campaign with a 6-11 record.
Part of their woes had to do with Daniel Jones’ health, who tore his ACL and missed the back half of the season.
After seeing how the team performed last year, the Giants entered the offseason with a few positions in mind, hoping to make upgrades to give themselves the best chance of success in 2024.
One of those positions was a wide receiver, and they selected Malik Nabers in the first round to try and help them out.
Nabers was one of the most highly touted players in the 2024 NFL Draft class, and he gives the Giants hope in their wide receiver room.
Jones spoke highly of Nabers in a recent press conference that was shared by Giants Videos on Twitter.
“He can do everything. When the ball is up in the air, he expects it to be his, and he’s going to go get it,” Jones said.

Videos from Giants training camp have been released over the past few weeks, and Jones’ comments seem to be indicative of what the tape says.
Nabers is the latest LSU receiver to be taken highly in the draft, and if Ja’Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson are any indication, this university seems to pump out talented receivers.
He still needs to prove himself during the regular season, but all signs point to Nabers being an impactful NFL athlete.
