The NFL has recently revealed its list of the Top 100 players in the league, a tradition that has been happening for several years.
This list is voted on by players, and this year’s No. 1 spot went to Tyreek Hill.
While Hill has been a dominant player in recent seasons, this pick was met with some surprise, as many believed that Patrick Mahomes was worthy of this title once again.
However, the decision has been made, and if anything, being named the No. 4 overall player might give Mahomes even more motivation heading into the season.
After hearing about this year’s top pick, Nick Wright predicted the No. 1 player in 2025, as he talked about on his show, “What’s Wright?”
He initially called out McCaffrey as the likely top player, but after a bit more thought, he shifted his thinking to the Buffalo Bills quarterback.
“Maybe, it’s Josh Allen. He’s running the ball like he did last year, turning that makeshift receiving corps into something. The pendulum has swung, in some ways, too far in the skepticism of the Bills,” Wright said.

As Wright indicated, many people around the league are doubting the Bills heading into 2024.
While they have been one of the best teams in the AFC over the past five years, record-wise, they’ve been unable to make it to the Super Bowl during the Allen era.
Their roster has looked like they can compete at a high level, but for some reason, they haven’t made that leap to being contenders.
Will 2024 be the year they can get this monkey off their back, and Allen can take the jump in production that many expect?
