Regardless of if they’re winning or losing, the Dallas Cowboys tend to be one of the most highly-discussed teams in the NFL.
They have been known as “America’s Team” for many years, and with that title comes a lot of eyes on the franchise.
Every move they make is seemingly put under a microscope, both by fans and analysts across the league.
There have been a few topics of conversation that have dominated their offseason, but the biggest is regarding Dak Prescott’s contract extension.
Prescott has been the leader of this team for several years, but he hasn’t been able to bring them on a deep playoff run.
The Cowboys have continued to put their faith in him despite this fact, but as of this moment, they haven’t put their money where their mouth is.
Nick Wright recently called this out in a segment of ‘First Things First’ on FS1, discussing how frustrated he is with the Cowboys’ front office.
“It is such indefensibly bad business, and that’s not even a value judgment where Dak is in the QB hierarchy. It’s just how to run a football franchise,” Wright said.

Wright believes that the Cowboys either need to ink Prescott to a long-term deal or let him go, so he can find value elsewhere.
The Cowboys are notoriously late to the party when it comes to player extensions, as they have yet to sign Micah Parsons or CeeDee Lamb either, who are two of the best players in the league at their respective positions.
