Brandon Aiyuk wants to be traded away from the San Francisco 49ers.

He also wants to get paid top dollar.

Moreover, he also wants to play for a Super Bowl contender.

In an ideal world, he would all get everything he’s looking for, but that’s not the way life works.

That’s why he’s lost yet another opportunity to be granted a trade.

Nonetheless, the Patriots tried to reach out to him and his agent to gauge his thoughts on potentially playing for them, and they barely got any response.

Essentially, the Patriots felt like he didn’t want to play there at all, not to mention the fact that they would have to give up a lot to get him.

With that in mind, they withdrew themselves from the race and looked to focus on developing their young core of wide receivers instead, which they claim to be very excited about.

Now, it seems like Aiyuk’s destinations are narrowed down to either the Pittsburgh Steelers or Cleveland Browns.

Someone will have to cave in at some point, as the Niners are also looking to get a steep return for a player who doesn’t even want to be there, and everybody might need to get a little taste of reality first.
