The Chicago Bulls made an interesting move in the offseason by trading for Josh Giddey.
Giddey was a solid role player for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the early stages of his career, and the Bulls seemingly wanted to see what he could do on their roster.
They needed a consistent point guard, especially since they’ve struggled to have healthy players at the position in recent years.
When this move was announced, Giddey’s role was seemingly undefined, as fans weren’t sure how he would fit in.
However, as reporter Joe Cowley highlighted in a recent sentiment shared by Legion Hoops, “They (the Bulls) view him as Lonzo Ball-light, a point guard with positional height to not only rebound but attack the opposing defense with his ability to get the ball quickly up the floor by keeping his dribble or uncanny outlet passing.”
Josh Giddey is expected be the Bulls starting point guard next season, per @JCowleyHoops.

If that’s truly how the Bulls feel about Giddey, fans could be in for a real treat.
Ball was supposed to be a dynamic player for over a decade, but unfortunately, injuries have slowed that quest.
He hasn’t been as impactful as people hoped for him coming into the league, which is why the Bulls have turned to Giddey.
Giddey did have a long road to relevance given the superstars on the Thunder, but he has a legitimate chance to be one of their best players for the foreseeable future.
Can the Bulls finally pick up momentum with their new addition in mind?
