Insider Reveals Injury Update On Lonzo Ball

When Lonzo Ball was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers, many expected him to be a bright spot for the organization.

After all, he was taken with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 draft, and all signs pointed to him having success in the league.

However, due to a variety of circumstances, including injury troubles, Ball hasn’t found a way to take that next step.

He didn’t have a long stint in LA, and after an attempt with the New Orleans Pelicans, Ball finds himself on the Chicago Bulls, a team that took a chance on him despite injuries.

Ball hasn’t suited up for the Bulls since the 2021-2022 season, as he has been on a long road to recovery.

However, as Joe Cowley recently reported via Legion Hoops, that could all be changing in the next few months.

According to Cowley, Ball has experienced “no setbacks” in his practices thus far in the offseason, a positive sign considering he has been involved in 5-on-5 drills.

It’s difficult to emulate NBA game speed in practices, even against other pros, but this is certainly positive news for Ball.

If he gets through the offseason without a hitch, he just might be able to make a meaningful impact on this roster.

Of course, he will have to share the court with newly traded-for Josh Giddey, who has motivations of his own, mainly to make a name for himself on a new team.

Can the Bulls find their way back to relevance with Ball back on the roster?
