The Buffalo Bills are not going to be pulling any punches against the Chicago Bears in their first preseason game, at least in the beginning.
According to Bills head coach Sean McDermott, Pro Bowl quarterback Josh Allen will be playing in the matchup.
Remember, this Buffalo team has won the AFC East each of the last four years and is looking to get off to a good start this preseason by staying in rhythm.

One interesting part about this team is that they made a lot of changes this offseason.
They parted ways with their top two wide receivers in All-Pro Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis.
Defensively, they cut ties with many fan favorites such as Pro Bowl safeties Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde, Pro Bowl cornerback Tre’Davious White, and edge-rusher Leonard Floyd.
A lot of change has come to the roster over the last six months.
But, they still have Josh Allen leading the way.
It will be up to him to gain a strong connection with new receivers Curtis Samuel, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, rookie Keon Coleman, Mack Hollins, and Chase Claypool.
That could be one of the main reasons why he is going to be playing against Chicago.
He does still have Pro Bowl running back James Cook, Pro Bowl tight end Dawson Knox, and second-year tight end Dalton Kincaid in the fold too.
But regardless of who he is and isn’t familiar with on offense, that is why the preseason can be a helpful tool for him.
Building a strong rapport with each piece of your offense is extremely important in the NFL, and that is why Allen is going to be playing against the Bears.
