After losing superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers to a season-ending Achilles injury during Week 1’s showdown with the division-rival Buffalo Bills last year, the New York Jets struggled to pick up the pieces and become a playoff team in the AFC.
Fortunately for New York, Rodgers was determined to return to the Jets for at least one more season and appears healthy as he prepares to get back on the football field for Week 1 this year when the team travels to Levi’s Stadium in the Bay Area to take on Brock Purdy’s San Francisco 49ers.
With Rodgers back in the fold and the team making some key additions on both sides of the football, the Jets could be a force to be reckoned with during the upcoming 2024 NFL season, as they could be equally dominant on offense and defense.
One of the main reasons the Jets offense might be prolific in 2024 is the presence and talent of wide receiver Garrett Wilson, who has played well even without a star quarterback in New York.
It appears that Wilson is already looking very good on the gridiron, as he was recently seen torching the Washington Commanders in a joint practice via Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team.

Obviously, this is an excellent sign for the Jets and what the team might be able to accomplish offensively this season, as Wilson could go from a talented wide receiver with a bright future to a bonafide superstar.
It remains to be seen how the Jets’ hopes of bouncing back will pan out, but so far, New York is showing signs of promise, with Rodgers and Wilson leading the way.
