CeeDee Lamb has been one of the best receivers in the NFL since he entered the league.
The former Oklahoma standout has made a name for himself on the Dallas Cowboys, and fans have quickly clung to him.
It seems that Lamb could be their answer for the position for the foreseeable future, but only if the organization takes his contract renewal seriously.
Lamb is still playing on his rookie contract, looking to sign a new deal as soon as humanly possible.
A new contract signals stability for himself and his family for years to come, and the assurance that they aren’t leaving anytime soon.
One might assume that the Cowboys would try to rush and get a deal done, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Jerry Jones recently expressed that this isn’t an urgent matter to him, effectively saying that a deal will be done when it’s supposed to be done.
Upon seeing these comments, Lamb only had one thing to say on Twitter: “Lol.”

While it can be difficult to interpret what someone’s tone is over social media, this isn’t a good look for the Cowboys moving forward.
Teams need to keep their star players happy, and after hearing what Jones had to say, Lamb is likely to be very unhappy.
He can have the best connection in the world with Dak Prescott, but if the team doesn’t start to put their money where their mouth is, it could spell trouble in paradise.
