LeBron James will fight for a gold medal in men’s basketball on Saturday and Nike will be rooting for him.

A new commercial shared by the company was making the rounds online before the big game.

In the spot, James is seen doing pull-ups and getting amped for the game.

“I’m going for my third gold medal. But I’m still thinking about my first bronze,” a voiceover featuring James says.

The ad then ends with a simple phrase: “Winning Isn’t For Everyone.”

No regrets.@KingJames isn’t the type to get over a loss. Even if it happened twenty years ago.#WinningIsntForEveryone #Paris2024 @Olympics pic.twitter.com/ZkwPyvKdgw

James is referencing the previous times he’s been at the Olympics.

Although most of them have ended with a gold, he and Team USA did earn a bronze once.

That was a black mark on their record, especially because of how dominant Team USA has always been.

Since that bronze, the Americans have been undefeated and have repeatedly walked away with the top prize at the Olympics.

They haven’t been as successful at the World Cup but the US is still the most feared team at the Olympics.

They are now just one win away from another gold and everyone is paying very close attention to how well they do against France.

If they win, will James be named the MVP?

One thing is for sure: this is most definitely James’ last chance to win a gold.

He is now 39 years old and has admitted this will be the final time he voyages to the Olympics.

So no matter how it ends, American fans are about to say goodbye to James in the big games.
