The Serbians didn’t win a gold medal for men’s basketball in the Olympics but they were still very happy on Saturday.
A video shared by Courtside Buzz on X showed the entire Serbian team celebrating on their bus following their bronze medal victory over Germany.
In the video, Nikola Jokic looks elated and even gets out of his seat and starts to dance a bit.
This is a side of Jokic we rarely see, and one that only his Serbian teammates can bring out of him.

Jokic isn’t known as the most celebratory person in the NBA.
But he was certainly feeling great on Saturday morning.
The Serbians wanted to go all the way and win a gold medal for their country but they are still very proud of their bronze.
They should be because this year’s Olympics has been filled with superb talent that is unlike anything we have seen before.
Jokic was dynamic from the very beginning and showed the world why he is a three-time MVP.
Again and again, the team’s offense and defense ran through Jokic, but he wasn’t the only bright spot on the roster.
This year’s Serbia team proved that they are one to watch in the years ahead.
They may have earned bronze but they could get silver or gold in just four more years.
This is a team that is only getting better, which means this probably won’t be the last time they are seen dancing and having fun on their bus after a victory.
Basketball has definitely become an international game and Serbia’s run at the Olympics proves that.
