The San Francisco 49ers are the consensus favorites to win the NFC West and get back to the Super Bowl as the roster is filled to the brim with talent on both sides of the field.
Under head coach Kyle Shannahan, the 49ers are perennial contenders who can play multiple styles and beat teams in various ways on the field.
Offensively, San Francisco has a great collection of talent in pass catchers like Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk, though there is still the question of whether or not the team will trade the latter.
There is also George Kittle who has slipped down the pecking order as far as targets go, but he’s still a fundamental piece of the offense.
Kittle is a great run-after-the-catch tight end, but he’s also arguably the best blocker at his position and is a large reason why the running game is so efficient.
By all accounts, Kittle is also an excellent teammate and he helped build some more camaraderie in the locker room by hosting a team workout before their preseason game against the Tennessee Titans via OurSF49ers.

In the first portion of the video, the players are seen getting their lifts in Kittle’s gym before it shifts to their on-field workout.
Later on, the team is seen eating together before it ends with a suite view of the playing field on game day.
It’s a great gesture from Kittle and it’ll be interesting to see how he and the team fare in 2024.
