There are many traits that make an NFL quarterback good.
Some are accurate, some have natural arm talent.
Others are great with their feet and have a natural feel for finding gaps in the trenches.
There are also guys with a cannon for an arm.
However, when it comes to ball placement, one guy stands on a tier of his own, at least, according to former NFL QB Dan Orlovsky.
In the latest edition of ESPN’s Get Up, the former Detroit Lion was asked to rank the best quarterbacks in the game according to multiple traits, including ball placement.

There, he stated that Joe Burrow was second to none in that regard.
Orlovsky explained that there is a difference between accuracy and ball placement.
That pretty much sums up the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback’s best trait.
Burrow is a master at putting the ball right where it needs to be, whether it’s in the middle of the numbers, or slightly in a place where only the wideout can get it.
He’s great at anticipating every move and finding his receivers in stride, and that’s something you either got or you don’t.
With him and Ja’Marr Chase running wild, the Bengals will always stand a chance to beat any defense.
