Former NBA star Stephon Marbury is not holding back about LeBron James.

After saying that James didn’t deserve to win MVP at the Olympics, Marbury added even more fuel to the fire by criticizing anyone who compares James to Michael Jordan.

According to NBACentral, Marbury said that James “shouldn’t even be mentioned in the same breath as MJ.”

Millions of James fans are going to push back against Marbury but the conversation about James versus Jordan is now front and center again.

Marbury was on hand for the recent Team USA gold medal game against France and he looked fairly happy with how well the Americans, and James, were performing.

But he seems to have something against the praise that James receives.

There are plenty of people who feel Jordan is better than James but most of them also feel comfortable having James in the conversation as one of the best players of all time.

Marbury, on the other hand, believes that James isn’t even remotely close to Jordan, which is somewhat surprising.

Regardless of what Marbury thinks, countless fans compare James to Jordan, and a growing number of individuals believe that he’s actually better than the Chicago Bulls icon.

To many, this latest victory at the Olympics is further proof of James’ dominance.

Millions of NBA fans think James deserved to be named MVP at the Olympics and many also feel he should be compared to Jordan.

But Marbury is speaking out, and raising some eyebrows.
