Muggsy Bogues is still considered one of the best point guards of all time but he admits that there is another shooter better than him.
On his X profile, Bogues posted a picture of himself alongside a young Steph Curry with the caption “Nothin to see here just me posting up the greatest shooter to ever walk this earth.”
Although Bogues is definitely posting up Curry in the image, it happens to be Curry when he was just a young child, creating much less of a challenge for Bogues.

Bogues had a long and historic career, spending 14 years in the league with the Washington Bullets, Charlotte Hornets (along with Steph’s father, Dell), the Golden State Warriors, and Toronto Raptors (also with Dell).
He still holds a place in history as the shortest NBA star of all time, coming in at only five-foot-three.
Despite his height, Bogues averaged 7.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 7.6 assists per game during his career.
Height had little impact on his abilities and Bogues was a very talented floor general who was able to run the ball, call plays, and find his teammates with ease.
He was definitely an inspiration for many young up-and-coming stars, including Curry.
It’s not entirely clear when this photo was taken but Bogues was wearing a Raptors shirt and shorts in it, meaning it was 1999, 2000, or 2001.
That means Curry would have been around 10 to 12 years old, just years away from entering high school and then, ultimately, the NBA.
Bogues isn’t the only person who feels that Curry is the best NBA shooter of all time.
More and more people agree that he is the most talented athlete to ever shoot the ball, perhaps because of some of the pointers he got from Bogues years ago.
