The Dallas Cowboys made a rather bold move last season when they acquired QB Trey Lance.

Lance is still young, and they didn’t have to give up much to get him.

Also, with Dak Prescott’s future up in the air, he could either put pressure on him or even be his heir apparent.

Fast forward to today, and that might not be the case at all.

Lance hasn’t shown many signs of improvement, and NFL analyst Steve Fezzik has lost all faith in him.

Talking on the Ross Tucker Podcast, he stated that Lance would never succeed in the NFL, even going as far as to encourage him to start selling insurance.

He talked about two plays he made on fourth down in the preseason.

In both plays, he threw the ball out of bounds, and Fezzik believes that’s just unforgivable.

He argued that all quarterbacks should know that they should give their wide receivers an opportunity to make a play on fourth down, stating that Lance is just ‘clueless’ at the position.

He also wondered what other mistakes he might be making in practice, and he’s clearly done with him.

Lance is very talented, but he was also a work in progress and he was raw because of a lack of experience.

But after being in the league for years now, if he hasn’t figured things out yet, maybe he never will.
