At least two of Deion Sanders’ sons are most likely one year away from following his steps in the National Football League.
In the meantime, Coach Prime will make sure to give them and his Colorado Buffaloes every chance to be better in his second season in charge of the program.
With that in mind, he brought another NFL legend with him by getting Warren Sapp to serve as an assistant coach.
He hasn’t been there for long, but the Pro Bowler is reportedly getting ‘addicted’ to the feeling.
“For someone who never wanted to do this, I’m addicted to it….the babies have really given me a purpose in life,” Sapp said.

The Buffaloes are back in the Big 12 after some years in the Pac-12.
Many analysts are predicting the Buffaloes to struggle again this season.
Needless to say, that should be more than enough motivation for Sanders’ team to prove the doubters wrong, just like they did earlier last season before crumbling toward the end of the year.
The Buffaloes started 3-0 before losing eight of their last nine games, mostly due to defensive struggles.
Hopefully, having one of the best defensive linemen of his time there will do wonders to fix those issues.
And with Sapp’s enthusiasm about getting to help these young stars and newly-found love for being a coach, perhaps he’d be the X-factor this program needs to be as good as Coach Sanders believes they can be in his second year in charge.
