With Inside The NBA’s future in limbo after the NBA chose to leave Turner for Amazon in its new TV rights deal, it’s uncertain how much longer we are going to have the pleasure of seeing Charles Barkley on our screens.
His honesty and reliability are what makes him so endearing, and unfortunately for Kendrick Perkins, sometimes that honesty can be a bit brutal.
Barkley recently appeared on The Dan LeBatard Show and brought up Perkins’ response to Chuck saying that Team USA shouldn’t have been tested at the 2024 Olympics where Perkins said that it was an asinine take, to which Chuck responded, “Don’t bring up a guy who averaged five points a game, I’m not gonna stoop to his level, you average five points a game, shut the hell up.”
Charles Barkley DOESN’T want to hear about @KendrickPerkins
“First of all, listen, don’t bring up, bring up a guy who averaged five points a game. I’m not gonna stoop to his level. You average five points a game shut the hell up.”

Barkley doesn’t mince words when coming after his peers, as he has crushed Skip Bayless for years for some of his takes.
Perkins has had a lot to say in recent years and is quickly becoming one of ESPN’s go-to hot-take artists for all things basketball, and many times his takes are baseless and appear to have the simple goal of riling people up.
Barkley isn’t the only all-time great to come after Perkins, either.
Yea and our starting center @KendrickPerkins averaged a whopping 2 and 3 during that series. U played hard tho champ lol

Kevin Durant is nearly unbeatable in Twitter beef, but it appears Perkins learned nothing from that whooping as he once again went at one of the game’s all-time best both on the court and on the mic.
Hopefully, Perkins can take some time to heal up from this one and get back in the lab to cook up some more takes.
