No one has a bigger ego than a professional athlete, and NFL players aren’t the exception to that rule.

That’s why they’re often bothered when they find out about their player ratings on video games.

More often than not, the players feel snubbed and disrespected, even if the rating seems to be objectively fair.

That was the case again with Las Vegas Raiders CB Jack Jones, who didn’t care for the way he was portrayed in Madden NFL 25.

The game ranked him with a 74 overall mark, and he was livid because of it.

As shown by Vegas Sports Today, Jones pointed out the fact that he holds the record for the most defensive touchdowns through 22 career games.

He’s got a valid point, though.

While he’s not particularly a marquee name in the league just yet, he got his career off to a solid start, so not even cracking the top 70 in his position is a bit of a tough blow.

He entered the league as a fourth-round pick by the New England Patriots in 2022, and he’s logged four interceptions thus far, three of which he took all the way.

Those three pick-sixes are tied for the NFL record by a player in his first 22 games.

Even so, there’s more to the game than that.

Otherwise, the Patriots wouldn’t have just waived him.

Now, he should focus on what actually matters, and if he wants that rating to go up, he must continue to ball out on the actual field.
