The Tennessee Titans made some big moves in the offseason, and they really, really need them to pan out.

Will Levis will enter his first full season as a starter, and with Brian Callahan there, there are big expectations for their offense.

That’s why it was such a big disappointment for the media and those in attendance to watch Calvin Ridley struggle in practice so much.

The team hosted the Seattle Seahawks for the first day of joint practices, and Ridley just couldn’t be at his best, dropping deep passes and whatnot.

When asked about that, the former Atlanta Falcons wide receiver admitted that he was tired and the energy just wasn’t there, adding that he wasn’t going at full speed the whole time (via A to Z Sports & Dov Kleiman).

Of course, that can happen, but it’s not a great sign.

This is training camp, and Ridley isn’t supposed to be so exhausted at this point in the season that he cannot go all-out in practice.

There are high expectations for the first year of the post-Mike Vrabel era in the Music City, and they have all the weapons they need to get a true glimpse of what Will Levis could look like as their franchise player.

Hopefully, this was just an off-day for the talented wideout, as they will most definitely need him to stay sharp and burn DBs when it actually counts.
