The New England Patriots gave their fans two full decades of dominance to feel great about their team.

But a once-great team has now nosedived and become, well, not so great since Tom Brady left, and their latest move was yet another way to frustrate the fans.

Trading Matthew Judon away pretty much made them part ways with the only bonafide and established player they had.

That’s why NBC Sports Boston analyst Mike Felger just couldn’t take it anymore.

“It’s a joke. Where is the money going?” Felger said.

He called out the team for not being able to make the most of the fact that they have a quarterback on a rookie contract to add more talent to the roster.

Per Felger, the team now doesn’t have an elite pass rusher.

But more than that, they also don’t have a number one receiver, a left or right tackle, or pretty much anything else.

Felger criticized them for either not spending the money they needed to spend or failing to land the kind of player they needed.

To be fair, it’s easy to understand why they struggled to get elite players to play for Bill Belichick without Tom Brady there.

This is now the first year of the Eliot Wolf regime, and as such, the fans will have no choice but to trust his vision and hope that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.

If that’s not the case, well, they had a pretty good run for those two decades or so.
