The San Francisco 49ers may or may not have Brandon Aiyuk and Trent Williams out there to start the season.
They’re more than likely to find some common ground with their star tackle, but Aiyuk’s situation is in question.
Christian McCaffrey has struggled with injuries in the past, and so has Deebo Samuel.
That’s why it’s only normal to see that some people are worried about Samuel’s apparent weight loss.
While getting slimmer could help him avoid injuries, it could also mess with his style of play, as he’s a physical player who doesn’t shy away from contact and will often bully his way down the field.
Still, he’s not worried about that at all, according to his latest interview with Kay Adams for Up & Adams.
Deebo says no one should be worried about his weight loss… breaking tackles SZN commences.

If anything, he’s confident about how he’s still keeping all his muscle and his ‘Bosa quads’ and how he’ll be able to get faster and break a lot of tackles.
Samuel is strong and physical, but he’s also elite at changing directions and making defensive backs miss.
If he somehow gets quicker or more elusive, it’s over.
Truth be told, there will always be some pros and cons about getting slimmer or bulking up, and it’s up to the player and the trainers to determine what’s best for them and put together a plan accordingly.
Samuel is a crucial part of the offense, and it’ll be interesting to see how he fares with this new approach to his physical preparation.
