The Philadelphia 76ers made the biggest move in free agency this summer as they signed Paul George to a four-year, max deal.
George’s tenure with the Los Angeles Clippers ended on a disappointing note as the two sides couldn’t come to terms on an extension, though the superstar wing lands in an optimal situation in Philadelphia.
George will act as the third star for the 76ers behind Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey and can revert to a natural 3-and-D role without having to assume as much offensive responsibility.
Even though George isn’t quite the same player as he used to be, he should be able to succeed in Philadelphia given the strength of the roster and coaching staff.
During the offseason, George made a trip to China to make an appearance at a streetball tournament.
While at the event, George posed for a photo with a diehard fan who had a tattoo of the star’s face and Nike logo on his chest via Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.
“Paul George posing with a fan in Nanjing, China who has a tattoo of PG and his PG Nike logo on his chest. That’s love right there,” Azarly reported.

Overseas countries like China have a deep love for basketball and in this case, a lucky fan got a chance to meet his idol in George.
It must have been a special moment for the fan to meet George in person and show him ink, and the 76ers fans back home will surely be eagerly waiting to see what he can do when the season tips off.
