Over the past couple of years with the Miami Dolphins, superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill has not only cemented himself as one of the best players in the NFL, but he’s also had some issues off the field, which have not been a good look for the future Hall of Famer.

Despite helping the Dolphins become a legitimate Super Bowl title contender in the AFC and recently taking the top spot on the top 100 NFL players list, Hill can’t seem to avoid being surrounded by negative off-the-field news, even when it is not about him directly.

This time around, it is Hill’s mother who has made headlines with TMZ Sports reporting that she has been accused of slapping a woman and breaking a necklace in an altercation, which doesn’t sound great and is another distraction the Dolphins don’t need with their best player.

“Tyreek Hill’s mother allegedly slapped a woman and later broke her necklace during an altercation last month,” TMZ Sports reported.

With the 2024 NFL season about to get underway for the Dolphins, with Mike McDaniel’s squad set to host Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars on September 8 in Week 1, the last thing the team wants to hear is bad news off the field.

Obviously, it is better that Hill himself wasn’t involved in this altercation, as that could have consequences that could really impact the team and the superstar’s playing status moving forward.

However, the team wants to be considered a legitimate title contender and will have a lot of hard work ahead of them to earn that distinction, so the focus needs to be on the football field.
