The 2024 NFL Draft will go down in history.
Six quarterbacks were taken within the first 12 picks, which set a record in that short of time.
With that being said, some of these quarterbacks have looked better than others, making their teams excited about drafting them.
Unfortunately for the Minnesota Vikings, J.J. McCarthy recently suffered a season-ending injury, and the team will have to wait another year to see how he pans out.
There are a few teams around the league that are excited for the regular season to start, so they can see how their rookies fare.
One surprisingly excited team, is the Denver Broncos,
The Bo Nix pick was viewed as questionable at the time, but he is starting to make a name for himself.
Louis Riddick commented on this during the Broncos’ latest preseason game, saying, “Bo Nix looks very comfortable.”

Riddick provided a disclaimer to this statement, indicating that he’s well aware that it’s only the preseason.
Plenty of quarterbacks have looked dominant in the preseason, only to fall well short of their goals during the regular season.
However, with his comments of Nix looking comfortable, Riddick sounds relatively confident that he will continue to build upon that as time goes on.
Sure, the Broncos haven’t exactly been the best team in the league over the past few seasons, but, as has been the case with other teams across the league, a new, exciting quarterback can make a world of difference for a team.
