The Philadelphia 76ers have had a very busy offseason and made it clear that they are trying to compete in a big way in 2024-25.
Their latest addition of French star Guerschon Yabusele is receiving rave reviews from analysts, including Antonio Daniels.
Speaking to SiriusXM NBA Radio, Daniels said that Yabusele is the sort of role player the 76ers need.
He isn’t going to be a main star because Philadelphia’s roster is already full of those, but Yabusele can be a helpful role player who understands his position on the team and brings strong defense.

Yabusele helped lead Team France to a silver medal at the recent Paris Olympics and generated a ton of buzz.
Right after the big games, many people were wondering if Yabusele would come to the US.
However, this actually won’t be his first time in the NBA.
He was picked in the first round of the NBA draft in 2016, selected by the Boston Celtics but only seeing limited time on the court.
After his stint with the Celtics, he moved on to playing in China, France, and Spain.
He is now coming back to the league after some time away and could be a great acquisition for the Sixers.
The team has been very busy over the last few months, adding Paul George to a four-year contract and holding onto other players such as Tyrese Maxey, Kelly Oubre, and Kyle Lowry.
They also added Caleb Martin and Andre Drummond.
Yabusele probably won’t get a lot of time in rotation but he will try to make it count when he does.
If his stint at the Olympics is any indication, he could bring a lot to the team as they attempt to battle the Boston Celtics for supremacy in the East.
