For years, LeSean McCoy was one of the best running backs in the NFL.

He was a dominant rusher, and he made a significant impact on every team he played for.

Now that he is retired, McCoy spends a lot of time on FS1, discussing the latest happenings in the NFL.

McCoy recently appeared on “Speak” on FS1, discussing how the preseason has gone down thus far.

The Chicago Bears have looked impressive thus far, getting especially great production out of their new quarterback, Caleb Wiliams.

Williams was viewed as the best prospect of the class and had been looked upon fondly for several years leading up to the draft.

He has looked solid in the preseason, causing McCoy to make a bold statement about the rookie.

“I ain’t gonna lie watching Caleb Williams… Hall of Fame! Get his measurements, because he’s gonna get that jacket,” McCoy said.

Obviously, McCoy speaks with hyperbole, but he does represent a rather large group of people who are impressed with Williams.

He will be the Bears’ starter to begin the 2024 season, potentially starting a new era of quarterback play for this franchise.

The Bears have never had a quarterback throw for 4,000 yards in a single season, and Williams certainly possesses the skillset to do that.

However, the NFL is a lot different than college, and the preseason is a lot different than the regular season.

McCoy likes what he has seen from Williams in the preseason, but it will be interesting if he changes his tune when the real games begin.
