This could be one of the biggest seasons for the Philadelphia 76ers and a lot is on the line for the Eastern Conference team.
That means they want to get started the right way, which requires a very good training camp.
According to NBC Sports Philadelphia, the Sixers have scheduled their training camp in the Bahamas at the Atlantis Paradise Island resort.
The training camp will start on Tuesday, October 1, and last until Saturday, October 5 with media day right before on September 30 at the Sixers training complex in New Jersey.

As noted by NBC Sports, this is the third time in a row that the Sixers will have training camp on the road.
They trained in Charleston, South Carolina in 2022 and then in Fort Collins, Colorado last season.
Obviously, the Bahamas will provide a much more beautiful and ideal location to play basketball, grow close to one another, and focus on the road ahead.
The Sixers have their work cut out for them because they have new recruits to bring into the fold.
Most notably, they need to figure out what their plans look like with Paul George on board.
Training camp doesn’t last long but can have a huge impact on a team’s plans and culture before the regular season kicks off.
Following camp, the Sixers will have a few preseason games against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Boston Celtics, Atlanta Hawks, and more.
By then, fans will have a pretty good idea of what this team will look like in 2024-25.
