Chet Holmgren of the Oklahoma City Thunder appeared on the latest episode of the “Podcast P” show with Paul George of the Philadelphia 76ers.
Holmgren was the guest but he asked one of the hardest questions.
According to a video shared by Sean Barnard, he asked George who should take a last-minute shot for the Sixers when everything is on the line.
George didn’t give a straight answer and instead deflected, saying that head coach Nick Nurse should be the one to make that decision.

George said he wasn’t afraid of the pressure of taking the final shot of a game.
In fact, he has done that before with previous teams.
But when it comes down to him and Joel Embiid and who will attempt the bucket, he is going to let Nurse decide.
This is a smart move, of course, because Nurse is the coach and should have the final say.
This question and George’s lack of an answer shows just how hard Nurse’s job will be in 2024-25.
It was already tough to begin with but the addition of George complicates things.
George brings a lot of talent to the team and he could be the missing piece that has been needed for so long.
But it’ll be interesting to see how Nurse divides duties between him and Embiid.
George is going to be diplomatic and follow the lead of his coach.
He will listen to Nurse and follow whatever plans he writes up.
In a short amount of time, the Sixers should be playing like a well-oiled machine.
Of course, there might be an adjustment period, and deciding who takes the final shot of games could be part of that.
