Most NBA fans agree that Kyrie Irving of the Dallas Mavericks is one of the most challenging basketball players on the planet.
But it’s not just followers of the league who feel that way; other stars think that as well.
On the latest episode of the “Club 520,” per Kyrie Center on X, Damian Lillard of the Milwaukee Bucks said that Irving is a “tough matchup” on the court.
“You can guard him perfect and he’ll still make it,” Lillard said.

This isn’t news to anyone who has been paying attention to Irving and his storied career.
His level of skill is incredible but his basketball IQ is on a whole other level.
He is able to read the floor with amazing speed and foresight and can make split-second decisions that determine the outcome of a game.
Irving decides if he’s the right person to post a bucket or if he should shoot it out to one of his teammates.
It’s his smarts that really set him apart and make him so difficult to guard.
Lillard is well aware of that.
In many ways, they play a very similar style of basketball, mostly because of their role on their respective teams and their body types and shooting abilities.
But Lillard admits that Irving feels impossible to stop at times.
“Club 520” co-host Jeff Teague knows that as well.
He chimed in during the interview to claim that he has likely guarded Irving more than anyone else and was repeatedly shut down by his skills.
A number of NBA superstars agree that Iriving is a menace on the court, which is massive proof of his greatness.
