When talking about the Arizona Cardinals and the 2024 NFL Draft, everybody will most likely rave about Marvin Harrison Jr., and rightly so.
However, as talented and promising as the wide receiver prospect is, another rookie has been turning plenty of heads for Jonathan Gannon’s team.
Following an impressive outing and a highlight-reel-worthy interception in the preseason game vs. the Indianapolis Colts, PFF actually has him graded as the highest-graded day three draft pick so far in the preseason.
PFF gave Dadrion Taylor-Demerson an impressive grade of 88.8, and he may have secured a rotational — or even a starting — spot on Gannon’s defense.

The rookie out of Texas Tech helped the Cardinals set up a 12-yard rushing touchdown with his interception, jumping in front of Colts WR DJ Montgomery to pick off the pass and eventually going out of bounds at the opposition’s 41-yard line.

This shouldn’t be much of a surprise if you’ve been keeping tabs on his career.
While he clearly wasn’t the highest-touted prospect coming out of college, he showed a great nose for the ball during his days in Lubbock.
He logged ten interceptions over the last three seasons in college, recording at least three each season and breaking up 33 passes.
The Cardinals are a bit of a wild card right now, and not many people seem to think of them as contenders.
Then again, Gannon’s defense showed signs of promise at some points last season, and if they give him enough time to establish a defensive identity, this team could surprise a lot of people.
