ESPN has made a couple of interesting roster moves in recent days.
Its most recent move, according to On3, was adding former NFL player and current analyst Louis Riddick to the college football broadcast team of play-by-play man Bob Wischusen and reporter Kris Budden.
This was the corresponding move after the network parted ways with former Heisman-winning quarterback and analyst Robert Griffin III, who was originally with Wischusen and Budden on Saturdays in the Fall.
Both Griffin and former host Sam Ponder were let go from their positions in previous days as the network was looking to make a couple of cuts.

Riddick was previously part of a college football broadcasting team with play-play man Mark Jones and reporter Quint Kessenich.
An all-conference defender while at the University of Pittsburgh, Riddick also spent seven years in the NFL as a defensive back before doing some front-office work in both Washington and Philadelphia.
He has also interviewed for multiple NFL GM positions in the past.
Riddick has been an analyst at ESPN for the last half-decade and is now about to enter another year of analyzing the college game from the booth.
The 55-year-old has plenty of experience commentating on both NFL and college games seeing as he has been a voice on Monday Night Football before.
He is still expected to contribute to other ESPN shows such as Get Up and First Take while in this role.
With Riddick’s experience around the game, fans should be excited about what he will bring to the viewing experience this Fall.
