Peyton Manning didn’t make many embarrassing throws throughout his storied NFL career that saw him win a pair of Super Bowl rings and five league MVP awards.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for his golf game, as he recently hit a shot so bad that he didn’t even have to yell “Fore!”
Romi Bean of CBS shared a clip of Manning teeing off at the BMW Championship Pro-Am, and he topped the ball incredibly hard, hitting it about 15 yards before turning to the crowd and making a joke that got a laugh out of the gallery.

That drive went about as far as he was capable of throwing a football during his final year with the Broncos.
The crowd even took it a step further, starting a hilarious “One of us!” chant shortly after the abysmal shot.
It wasn’t his best work, but it was also his first shot of the day, so you’ve got to cut him a little slack.
Former teammate Brandon Stokley is his caddy for the event, with Manning paired with PGA pros Wyndham Clark and Adam Hadwin.
Denver Broncos legend John Elway was also on the course, but Manning stole the show with this terrible shot and lightened up the crowd at the festivities.
Hopefully, Manning can reel it in and do better after setting the bar extraordinarily low with his opening shot.
