It has been a little while since Paul Pierce made his home on courts across the NBA, mostly for the Boston Celtics.
He played 19 seasons in the league and retired in 2017 after spending his final two seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers, and since then, he has served as a commentator for ESPN and, more recently, a contributor on Fox Sports 1’s “Undisputed.”
Per Legion Hoops, Pierce will have a new gig soon, as he’s set to co-host Fox Sports 1’s “Speak” along with Joy Taylor and former NFL star wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson.

This news comes as “Undisputed” has been canceled after being on the air for eight years and “Speak” undergoes some changes.
The latter show had been co-hosted by former NFL players LeSean McCoy and Emmanuel Acho, as well as Joy Taylor.
Pierce was a Hall of Fame basketball player who helped lead the Celtics to the NBA championship in 2008 after enduring many bad and mediocre seasons with them.
It was their first world title since 1986, and with Pierce continuing to excel in his 30s, they came very close to winning it all again in 2010.
Pierce began the twilight of his career in 2013 when he and Kevin Garnett were traded to the Brooklyn Nets in 2013 in a deal that helped provide the foundation for the Celtics team that won another NBA title in June.
He should be an interesting and entertaining addition to Fox Sports 1’s lineup.
