Stephen Curry is the proud owner of four NBA championship rings, two scoring titles, two regular season MVP awards and an NBA Finals MVP award.

But now, he is also an Olympic gold medalist after playing for Team USA at the 2024 Paris Games.

In fact, Curry made a change to his social media bio and replaced “Guard for the Warriors” with “Olympic Gold Medalist,” per NBACentral.

In his updated bio, Steph Curry switched the phrase “Guard for the @Warriors” to “Olympic Gold Medalist.”

It’s hard to believe Curry had never suited up for Team USA in the Olympics, and though he won two gold medals during FIBA competitions, earning an Olympic gold medal was something that motivated him.

At times in Paris, Curry was his vintage self, and perhaps his highlight of the tournament came in the semifinal round after the United States trailed Serbia by double digits.

He went into volcano mode in that game, going 12-of-19 from the field and 9-of-14 from 3-point range to score 36 points in 33 minutes as Team USA rallied to win, 95-91.

Then, in the gold-medal game against France, Curry poured in 24 points and went 8-of-13 from downtown while hitting four triples in the final 2:48 to secure a 98-87 win.

Though his Golden State Warriors look to be weakened after his “Splash Brothers” teammate Klay Thompson left as a free agent this offseason, Curry will look to keep them respectable this season.

The Warriors missed the playoffs last season, but they’re hoping to return and maintain their dignity, even though their dynasty, by all accounts, may be disappearing quickly.
